Through the development of the "Train the Trainers" programs, Word Professor was able to negotiate and secure contracts with Fortune 500 Companies like Ralston Purina, Blue Cross/Blue Shield, Sverdrup and many other companies.

By virtue of its clients' needs, Word Professor expanded easily into the computer hardware supply and support area of the industry.  Within the first year of expansion, one third of the company's sales were in hardware.  The demands for both hardware and software support were so great that Word Professor met the challenge by expanding and changing its name to Word Pro Systems.

In 1997, Word Pro acquired Service Technologies, Inc., headed by Kent Bergeland.  With adding over 25 years of experience and doubling the client base, Word Pro acquired SMC Networking in 1998.  This increased Word Pro's ability to expand into networking sales and support.
